Anti-Block Masterbatch

During manufacturing process of Plastic films, two layers of plastic films have a lot of adhesion between them which makes it difficult to separate these layers. Addition of AddSM Anti Block Masterbatch to these films, create a micro rough surface which reduces the adhesion between film layers and lowers the blocking tendency and also prevents formation of Air Bubbles.

Anti-Fog Masterbatch

AddSM Anti-Fog Masterbatch prevents condensation of water vapor on the surface of a clear plastic film, these small droplets cause poor film transparency, low attractiveness, and spoilage of packaged foods. This masterbatch is best for Packaging of Food Items as it permits Perfect Transparency, doesn’t let Food Quality to deteriorate for Longer Time and is useful in eliminating Hot & Cold Fog.

Anti-Microbial Masterbatch

AddSM Antimicrobial masterbatches are used to prevent development of microbial organism like fungi and bacteria on the surface of plastic goods. Anti Microbial Masterbatches can be added in the main compound easily during the production process. AddSM is a high efficiency anti-microbial masterbatch ,developed to tackle the rising threat that bacteria present to humans to execute their everyday activities which involves usage of plastic products.

Anti-Oxidant Masterbatch

AddSM Antioxidant Masterbatch is used in protecting polymers from oxidative degradation during processing and end use. They are also used in various stages of the processing of different polymers to give the required properties in following applications Pipes, BOPP, Tapes, Cable Industries and Reprocessed & Filled Compounds to retaining the flow and mechanical properties in virgin , heat sensitive polymers etc.

AddSM Anti Oxidant  Masterbatches comes in two grades:

  • AddSM AntiOx (Active Content)- 10%
  • AddSM AntiOx (Active Content)- 20%

Anti-Static Masterbatch

Even though all polymers are insulating in nature, still they allow static charge to build-up on their surfaces. Such static charge build-up leads to several undesirable consequences in the final product. For instance,

  • In case of Food Packaging, the built-up static charge will draw dust to a food package which is highly undesirable.
  • In case of Electronics, static charge can damage circuit boards and other equipment.By using AddSM Anti-Static Masterbatch, problems caused by static electricity charge can be reduced and eliminated. AddSM Antistatic Masterbatches works by migrating to the surface of the polymer and reducing its surface resistivity to  1011- 108 ohms where static charge accumulation can be prevented. We offer special anti-static masterbatches for electronic equipment as well Conductive Compounds.

Anti-Termite & Rodent Masterbatch

AddSM Anti Termite and Rodent Masterbatches are developed with non-toxic and non-hazardous additives. But they are extremely bitter tasting material as well as creates highly pungent odour. Termites & Rodents usually avoid attacking such materials containing such pungent smell and even if they do then the bitter taste of plastic product makes them run away. This way we can save the plastic products as well as the content inside them. Few usual usage of this masterbatch are in tarpaulins, power cables, wires, plastics bags etc.

Thus addition of AddSM Anti Rodent Masterbatch to your product helps you preventing any kind of Termite or Rodent attack on your product. We have separate as well as combo grades for Anti- Termite & Rodent Masterbatch.

Desiccant / Anti-Moisture Masterbatch

Raw Materials such as polymers, fillers and pigments used in plastic production usually gain moisture over transportation & storage due to their Hygroscopic nature. When added to main compound or product, AddSM Desiccant Masterbatch act as moisture absorber and helps in eliminating any kind of moisture present in plastic. Desiccant masterbatches will minimize the need for pre-drying of materials and expand control of critical polymers for processing moisture.

AddSM Desiccant Masterbatch is a simple and economical way to remove moisture issues in plastics processing that can otherwise cause unattractive surface defects such as voiding, porosity ,splash marks and Silver streak in molding products and fish eye, lenses/ window and bubble breakage in case of films.

AddSM Desiccant Masterbatch is mainly used in blown film, moulding & raffia. It also plays important role in case of Reprocess polymer as it usually has high moisture content.

Optical Brightener Masterbatch

Mostly all plastic material have the tendency to turn yellowish due to degradation by UV or visible light. AddSM Optical Brighteners are crafted especially for plastic applications. This Masterbatch enhance the glow & luster of plastics by means of absorption of UV wavelengths and re-emitting them in the visible spectrum. Key characteristics:

  • Improves film and fiber clarity
  • Improves product brightness and gloss
  • Reduces Yellowness of surface of the Film

Flame Retardant Masterbatch

Most thermoplastics are flammable, burning easily when heated to a high enough temperature. Flame retardants are added to polymers to increase resistance to ignition, reduce flame spread and suppress smoke formation.

AddSM Flame Retardant Masterbatch can and should be added on the following applications in order to avoid fire hazard, few applications are:

construction fabrics, banner prints, automotive fabrics, components in trains and planes, internal insulation of any structure or buildings and electronics, electric wiring, power cable, and conduit for tunnels. We have two ,grades of Flame Retardants:

 

Slip Masterbatch

Polyolefin films have high coefficient of friction (COF), due to which they tend to stick or adhere to themselves (film-to-film) and metal surfaces (film-to-metal). In order to process films with ease, they require about 0.2 COF. AddSM Slip Masterbatch are able to modify the surface properties and thereby reducing the friction between film layers and other surfaces. This masterbatch also has the ability to enhances surface shine and gloss of films.

Polymer Processing Aid (PPA) Masterbatch

Polymer Process Aid (PPA) Masterbatches are specifically designed to enhance extrusion ability of plastics contributing to productivity and quality improvement. AddSM PPA masterbatches are high performance fluoroelastomers used in processing of polyolefin polymers. They work by constantly coating the die with a lubricating fluoropolymer which in turn helps in processing polymers which are extremely prone to melt fracture due to high pressures at the die exit. AddSM PPA has application in all extrusion processes like LLDPE Blown Film, HDPE Pipes, PP Sheets and foams and HDPE Blow molding.

VCI Additive Masterbatch

AddSM VCI ( Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor) Masterbatch is one of the safest and easiest ways to prevent corrosion in metals. They are used to create anti-corrosion packaging solutions for Blown Film / Molding / Stretch films. VCI Masterbatch provides security to your product against corrosion by producing vapors that form a protective monomolecular coating on the surface of the metal to be covered.

Thus, by forming such protective layer on outer surface of the metal it prevents the metal to come in contact with air & moisture and in turn preventing corrosion in metals. This masterbatches are easily blended with LDPE/LLDPE/HDPE polymer resins as per your requirement.
