Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) masterbatch is an additive masterbatch that is used in the production of XLPE cables. The cross-linking process helps to increase the properties of PE polymer to make it heat resistant and more chemically stable.

This is used mainly in the insulation process of high-voltage cables to help achieve high electrical and thermal properties XLPE-insulated cables are widely used in power distribution, industrial wiring, and other electrical applications.
